When I started playing poker three years ago, I never realized that it would become one of my strongest passions in life. As a young sportsman, I found myself immersed in the heat of competition in our national pastime, basketball. For years I played organized and serious hoops as a member of the UP squad in the battles at the UAAP. When my knees finally gave up on me, I pursued other sports with the same fervor and intensity that would fill up my little cabinet of trophies.
